The Berwyns area of The Snowdonia National Park (part), is the area enclosed by A494 from Llanuwchllyn to Druid to the North West, the A5 from Druid to Glyndyfrdwy to the North, a line from Glyndyfrdwy to Llanrhaeadr-ym Mochnant via Tan-y-celyn and Llanarmon Dyffryn Ceiriog to the East, the B4396 from Llanrhaeadr-ym Mochnant to Pont Cwm Pydew and then the edge of the Snowdonia National Park from Pont Cwm Pydew to Bwlch y Groes to the South and Cwm Cynllwyd from Bwlch y Groes to Llanuwchllyn to the South West.

There are 37 'tops' to walk up and conquor, the highest point is Cadair Berwyn and the area includes:

14 Mountains (aka Hewitts) and
23 Hills (aka Bridgets)
