Wayfayrer has been the food of choice for record breaker Steve Perry on his Winter 284 challenge.

Having successfully conquered all 284 Munros in Scotland and travelling 1500 miles on foot Steve completed his challenge, as expected, on March 31st after long 4 months and a broken rib along the way.

Record Breaking Challenge

Throughout his challenge Steve took advantage of Wayfayrer’s range of 100% real food breakfasts, main meals and desserts. Containing a good balance of proteins and carbohydrates Wayfayrer dishes keep energy levels high for hours, which was very useful to Steve on his long days on the hills.

Commenting on his meal choice Steve says: “Without doubt the most convenient and enjoyable backpacking food on the market! The Chocolate Pudding in Chocolate Sauce is a fantastic dessert, I could have eaten it three times a day. I will certainly stick with Wayfayrer meals on my future backpacking trips.”

Steve also found Wayfayrer’s ease of preparation of great use. The real food meals can be eaten hot or cold, to eat hot simply place the easy to carry robust foil pouches in hot water for 7-8 minutes.

Wayfayrer is the number one brand of ready to eat food for the great outdoors and continually positions itself at the forefront of adventure.
