X-UnderGear® - The Energy Accumulator and Leki Mountain Unlimited which are distributed in the UK by Ardblair Sports Importers (ASI), have received the top accolade at the ‘European Ski Awards' ISPO '05.

The best innovations in all aspects of winter sports were being rewarded in six different categories, hardware, bindings, integrated binding systems, clothing specials and for the first time the women category.

The decisive criteria for the international jury, which was composed of representatives from industry, trade the media and the International Skiing Association, FIS, were function/quality/technical solutions, innovation, user-friendliness/easy operability and finally the design of the product innovation.

X-UnderGear® - The Energy Accumulator has received the European Ski Award by ispo '05 for the following qualities:

"X-Technology opens a new dimension in the segment of functional clothing with its products. Innovative as well as attractive detail provide users with substantially improved functional qualities."

The pole model “LEKI Mountain Unlimited“ is the winner in the Specials Category. Regardless of whether it is used for hill running, snowshoeing, backcountry, touring, cross-country or Nordic Walking, this ultimate LEKI model can be used without compromise due to the perfect positioning of the hand in different sports. Thanks to the tried and tested Easy Lock adjustment System (ELS), the length of “Mountain Unlimited“ can be adjusted stepless in seconds without tools. All LEKI trekking and walking models with the new ELS adjustment system achieved sensational results in a test conducted by German Technical Control Board in southern Germany. Previously unattained values were certified not only for their holding power, which is 140 kg, but also in their reverse rotation security (360o) and fracture resistance.
