In-use Test:
Material: Worn both ways round, the fabric is very comfortable although smooth side is softer next to skin. Very simple design. Odour masking worked well. Washes extremely well and dries very quickly. Neither performance nor fit have changed even after large number of machine washes.
Fit: Tester: Female 5'8'', slim build. Fitted well and is a good length. Material is slightly 'stretchy' so no restrictions when bending or climbing.
Wicking Properties: Wicking is very good indeed - may be marginally better with the smooth side next to skin, which is the way I preferred to wear it. Under the conditions I tested it (UK walking in Spring/Summer) I didn't really notice any marked difference in performance whichever way round I wore it.
Very effective wicking base layer. Performance and fit sustained through multiple washings. The two garments-in-one claim was not really supported in our test. This may make the £25 price tag seem a little high for some.
