Features to Note:
In-use Test:
Material: Smooth, very comfortable and stylish. Washes extremely well and dries quickly. Neither performance nor fit have changed even after large number of machine washes. Odour masking worked well even after 3 days continuous use hiking and camping and sleeping.
Fit: Tester: Male 5'10'', stocky build. Fitted well if a little snug for me. Back could be longer to ensure the lumber region remains covered when stretching. Having said that, the material is slightly 'stretchy' so no restrictions when bending or climbing.
Wicking Properties: The close knit wool material wicked moisture away well. Also kept me warm at rest in Spring and Autumn. Might be too warm for long mountain ascents on hot summer days though.
Good base layer whose performance and fit were sustained through multiple washings. Might be too warm in high summer but perfect for nightwear when camping. £25 might be a little high for some.
