Q. Are water purifiers or filters a good idea for hill walking in cumbria. I regularly walk with a small dog and have to carry a large amount of water for him.
Any sugestions gratefully recieved.
Thanks.

A. You dont need to purify Lake District water for dogs - but if it makes you feel better about it, use a steripen. Let Fido drink from the beck like all the other dogs
