Walking the Llanberris Railway route up Snowdon

Q. Is it possible too walk to the top off Snowdon close to the railway track?

How far is [it] from Llanberis to the top of Snowdon?

My wife and I hope to do it tomorrow.

Thanks for any other advise [sic]

A. Walks gw158 Mount Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa) & Moel Eilio from Llanberis  and gw186 Mount Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa) from Llanberis  follow the Snowdon Mountain Railway up to the summit of Snowdon though both offer longer alternative descents over multiple mountain peaks for a longer mountain day.

If you just want to follow the railway track up and back down again - both walks will tell you everything you need to know.

Hope this helps
