Timex Expedition Watch

Q. I have just given my dad a Timex Expedition Watch for his birthday. He is used to using a normal compass but needs some instructions on how to use the digital compass on his watch for navigating. Any suggestions??

A. The digital compass in your dad's Timex Expedition Watch must be calibrated to his location first.

You should be able to find directions to perform this step online.

After calibration, the compass works like any standard compass. The outer ring of the watch can be manually rotated to choose your course.

I hope this helps.
