Stretching Boots

Q. My right foot is bigger than my left and my toes could do with a little more space.

Besides having to buy a stretching device, what is the best polish or additive to use on the leather to soften it a bit so it will stretch?

A. Since you live in Exeter this might not help much - but the outdoor shop Catstye Cam in Glenridding in the Lake District offer a boot stretching service (see Wide Walking and Hiking Boots)
