Hadrian's Wall

Q. I heard that a walk has been opened along Hadrian's Wall.

Has this been plotted on a map? If so which one?

Please advise.

A. Harvey maps have just published an excellent linear map of the route, called, spookily enough, 'Hadrian's Wall'

A. The walk you refer to is a new National Trail that covers the whole length of Hadrian's Wall (at some considerable cost). There have been walks along parts of the Wall for many years - indeed, the Pennine Way follows it for some way before heading North.

We have a walk along the more interesting part of the wall - n100 Hadrian’s Wall & Vindolanda from Housesteads  which is on Ordnance Survey Explorer OL43, Ordnance Survey Landranger 86 or Ordnance Survey Landranger 87
