Where are my GPS Waypoints?

Q. Hi

I have now used the GPS Utility mentioned on your site (see Uploading GPS Waypoints) and it works really well.

My problem now is that I have been able to transfer sample files included in the GPSU download to my GPS but not those offered on your website.

The messages (both from GPSU and my GPS) tell me that the upload is complete but I cant find any trace of your GPS Waypoints on the GPS itself.

Any ideas?

Dr Philip Smith

A. . Once you have completed the upload using the GPS Utility - search through your GPS Device using the side buttons to locate the 'Menu' screen and then scroll down to 'Waypoints'.

If you downloaded waypoints beginning with 'c' (ie c213-1, c213-2, c213-3 - Walk 'c213 Helvellyn via Striding Edge') they should appear under waypoints A-D (because the GPS Waypoints start with 'c')

If you downloaded waypoints starting with 'p' (ie po1001, po1002, po1002- Walk 'po100 Pen y Fan from Neuadd Reservoir' in the Brecon Beacons) then they should appear under waypoints 'M-P'.

You manual should help with this.

Any Help?

Let me know - maybe we don't explain it to well . . .
