Are dogs permitted on the Ben Nevis tourist path?

Q. Hi, I am planning an attack on Ben Nevis next July on my 60th birthday.

My question is: Would the footpath to the top be alright for my two dogs to walk on? I would really love to take them with me. I do so hope someone can put my mind at rest over this.

A. Yes, I have had my dog up to the top of Ben Nevis twice. You will find lots of dogs on the way.
